You are invited to UNT's upcoming HUB Vendor Fair on Nov. 17, 2021. The Vendor Fair will help UNT and UNT System faculty and staff learn more about Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) vendors and how each of our units can benefit from partnerships with these businesses.
The UNT Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration and the UNT System Administration are committed to doing business with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). The UNT System HUB Program’s mission is to promote and increase procurement opportunities with HUBs by demonstrating a good faith effort through advocacy, education, knowledge and development.
The 2021 UNT HUB Vendor Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17, in the University Union, Ballroom 314.
The HUB Vendor Fair will include opportunities to gather information on HUB vendors, collect samples and win door prizes. Those who attend the fair can begin to establish relationships with our HUB vendors. The HUB Vendor Fair provides a perfect opportunity for vendors to introduce some of their cutting-edge products and services to faculty and staff, which may result in saving UNT and UNT System unit areas money and time, while making day-to-day operations easier and more efficient.
A Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) is:
- A business that is at least 51 percent owned by an Asian Pacific American, Black American, Hispanic American, Native American, American woman, and/or a 20% Service Connected Disabled Veteran
- Owned by a Texas resident
- Principally operated within the State of Texas
Please make note of this date and time so that all of our division, campus, and UNT System related units are able to attend and we’ll follow-up with some timely reminders.
Thank you for your partnership and support of this important community event.
