Each year, our amazing staff members work hard to make the UNT community better. Here are a selection of news media stories that showcase their dedicated efforts during the 2023-24 academic year.
Following six years of service, the UNT Police Department's explosives detection K-9 officer, Keegan, retired from service. He was adopted by his police partner, Lt. Brauchle, and will spend the rest of his days as a beloved pet.
Pictured at right, K-9 Keegan celebrated his 7th birthday by bringing treats for his human coworkers because he's such a good boy!
Transportation Services created a new program in fall 2023 to help those who received parking citations to pay off those citations through toy donations and discounts. These donations were given to WFAA's Santa's Helpers program, and $7,200 in reduced citations were paid.
Pictured at right, Transportation Services filled one of their E-ride late night evening buses with the toy donations they received.
