Parking permits for 2018-19 on sale

UNT Transportation Services contact infoParking permits for the UNT community went on sale in April, and faculty and staff are encouraged to buy their 2018-19 permits now.

For those who pay with payroll deduction, it will not go into effect until their September 2018 paycheck. Please use the parking permit portal to purchase permits through payroll deducation or by credit card. Others may pay by credit card, check or cash by visiting the office in Highland Street Garage.

Permit prices remain the same as last year, which includes $650 for A-Reserved spaces and annual parking in the Highland Street Garage, $225 for F/S lots, $115 for Motorcycle spaces and $137 for EVN permits (evening only, 5:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.). All permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Roughly half of the permits sold last year for F/S have been sold so far this year.

Few changes have been made to the campus lots. The most noticeable impact to faculty and staff is to F/S lots, including adding the F/S designation to lot 47 behind Welch Street Complex 2; adding F/S lot 21 to the east of the Sullivant Public Safety Center and changing the designation of lot 34 in front of the 1500 S. I-35 building from Eagle to F/S. The 2018-19 campus parking map can be found here.

Permit portal purchase instructions:

For those who purchase through the portal, log onto the site linked above (also accessible at and click the Purchase Permits link. Enter your EUID and password. You will see a note that states you’ve been authorized to purchase permits. If you do not see that note, please call the Transportation Services office. The permit selection page gives you the type of permit options available to you. Once you have selected a permit type, you can add your vehicle. If your vehicle information is out of date, you can change it by clicking the Vehicles menu item at the top of the page. You will also be asked to provide a delivery address. Please note that it can take 14 days or more for the permit to be mailed. The last step is paying for your permit – if you are authorized to pay with payroll deduction then you will have a drop down menu that allows you to pay that way or by credit card.
